Executive Director Loretta Geotis

Loretta Geotis, General Manager

We are well into the 2009-2010 season and so far we have had two fantastic productions, Incorruptible and Sylvia. Attendance has been good, and we anticipate full-capacity numbers for the upcoming musical, Guys and Dolls. Deathtrap will be our final production for the season and promises to close it out with a bang.

We have a great lineup for the 2009-2010 season. Please check the entire website for all the details.

Last summer, our many dance teams put together a new type of production featuring all dance numbers. tah-DANCE was such a huge success with a sold-out crowd; we have decided to not only present the production again this year, but to add an additional performance. Please check our website for complete details, ticket prices, etc.

In addition to tah-DANCE, we will again offer a summer reading near the end of July. That selection is yet to be determined, but will, as always, be another opportunity for a fun-filled evening at MCT.

I would like to take this opportunity to sincerely thank all our donors, volunteers, actors and actresses, directors, producers and stage crews for the incredible commitment of time and support that each of you give. In addition, I want to thank each and every patron who has attended one or more of our productions. You are always appreciative and complimentary. I love to see the smiles as you leave the theatre each night following the shows.

Don’t forget, the Marathon Cinema, housed in the same facility is also a part of our 501(c) 3 not-for-profit organization, and we appreciate your attendance at the movies.

I’m always available by phone or email to answer any questions. Call me at 305-743-0408 or email at: gm@marathontheater.org.
See you at the theatre!

Loretta Geotis,
Executive Director
